·        My song The Bedfordshire Clanger was used in the short film of the same name by Dunstable-based Five Feet Films in 2007 and submitted to The Cannes Film Festival and appears on their website: www.thebedfordshireclanger.co.uk

·        My first draft with additions by Barry Goodman is the mainstay of the script for Life & Times’ canal show, Where the Working Boats Went

·        As well as being a member of the song duo Life & Times I am also with dance band Time of Your Life

·        With Life & Times I have been a resident performer at Hitchin Folk club since the early 1990s. The club was voted ‘Best Folk Club’ in the 2005 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards

·        With Life & Times, won the FATEA Tradition 09 award which is presented to the act that have traditional folk at the root of their sound and use it to inspire new songs, tunes and arrangements

·        With Life & Times I have represented Bedfordshire at the EFDSS National Gathering at Cecil Sharp House.

·        I was formerly with the duo Midas (1977-1980) who were on the bill of the Silver Jubilee Sidmouth Folk Festival in 1979

·        I have written a large number of traditional idiom songs on the subject of Bedfordshire history, customs and legend.

·        My recorded material, performed by Life & Times, is catalogued in the British Library Sound Archive. See Links page
